Upon your arrival in Delhi, a representative from Sitar India Tours will warmly welcome you and assist you to your hotel. They will provide you with a briefing about the tour and handover all the necessary travel documents. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and settle in. Overnight stay in your hotel
We’ll start the day with a scrumptious breakfast before embarking on a private guided tour through the streets of Old Delhi, also known as Shahjahanabad. Our first stop will be Jama Masjid , a 17th century mosque, commissioned by the late Mughal emperor, Shahjahan. We’ll also be visiting the largest spice market of Asia, and what better way to go about it than on a cycle rickshaw Later, we’ll be visiting the Humayun’s Tomb, a monument which would later go on to inspire the construction of the Taj Mahal, and the 12th century victory tower, Qutab Minar. then visit Lotus Temple You’ll also have the opportunity to experience and click pictures of British era structures like the Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s Residence) and the India Gate from the comfort of your private vehicle. Rise and shine; the Pink City awaits! Have your breakfast and pack your bags, as today we’ll be traveling by road to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. After check-in, we’ll be making a sole sightseeing trip to the Birla Mandir,a white marble temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu, for the purpose of attending a Hindu religious ceremony.
Grab your cameras, as today we’ll take you on a trip to the Hawa Mahal, a five-story building also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” The beautiful pink structure makes for perfect postcard pictures. Our next stop will be the Amber Fort , located just outside the city of Jaipur. This fascinating fort, which blends Hindu and Islamic architecture, sits atop a hill. There’s your cue! We shall take a short jeep ride or one on elephant back—we highly recommend the latter—to reach the fort. then you will visit City Palace, a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture, still home to the last ruling royal family, we’ll make one last stop at Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century observatory that houses the world’s largest stone sundial and also happens to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site .stay overnight in Jaipur.
Symmetry is beauty. On our way to Agra, we’ll make a pitstop at Chand Baori , a perfectly symmetrical stepwell (one of the deepest and largest in India) located in the village of Abhaneri. We’ll also be making a stop in the ancient but now abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, which houses numerous monuments inside that have survived to this day. Stay Overnight in Agra
A trip to India is incomplete without visiting the Taj Mahal (CLOSED ON FRIDAYS) This jewel of Islamic architecture is recognized the world over and is one of the seven wonders of the world. Early morning is the best time of the day to experience the Taj in all its grandeur, and that’s exactly what we’ll do! Before leaving for Delhi, we’ll also visit the Red Fort in Agra, which, despite being quite similar to the Red Fort in Delhi, is better preserved and more accessible. After Breakfast In the early morning, you will be transferred to the Delhi Airport to get your flight for Varanasi Upon arrival in Varanasi In the evening, you will witness the beautiful Ganga Aarti, or River Ganges, which is the holy river of India for Hindus. It flows through many important religious cities like Varanasi, Haridwar, and Rishikesh in North India. People offer fire offerings to the river in the form of floating lamps made with candles and flowers. Early in the morning, proceed for a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges. Boating down the Ganges River during sunrise is one of the main attractions in Varanasi. Here, we can observe the Hindu way of life along the banks of the Ganges (Ghats) River. You will have the chance to witness a unique combination of physical, metaphysical, and supernatural elements that Varanasi presents. According to Hindu mythology, Varanasi liberates the soul from the human body to the ultimate. you will proceed to visit Sarnath, the temple where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples, preaching the middle path for attaining “Nirvana.” stay overnight in the hotel.
