Itinerary
Day 01Arrive in Delhi
Upon your arrival in Delhi, a representative from Sitar India Tours will warmly welcome you and assist you to your hotel. They will provide you with a briefing about the tour and handover all the necessary travel documents. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and settle in. Overnight stay in your hotel.
Day 02Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, the sightseeing tour begins with a visit to Old Delhi. The tour starts with a visit to Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Then, drive past the Red Fort and continue to Jama Masjid, which is one of the largest mosques in Asia. The magnificent Red Fort, which overlooks the river Yamuna, was built during the peak years of the Mughal Empire between 1638 and 1648. After exploring Old Delhi, you will be driven to New Delhi, which reflects the legacy left behind by the British. The division between New and Old Delhi marks the division between the capitals of the British and
the Mughals, respectively. The division in the walled city and New Delhi also marks the difference in their lifestyles. The walled city is traditional, where one can experience past lifestyles in all their facets, colors, and spells. In contrast, New Delhi is a city that strives to live up to the best of 21st century standards. The tour of Imperial Delhi will include a visit to QutubMinar, which is the tallest stone tower in India. It was started by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1199. You will also visit the Humayun Tomb, drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament building, and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, which is the President’s residence. Finally, you will visit the Lotus Temple (Bahai Temple). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03Delhi to Udaipur ( By flight )
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will flight towards Udaipur, which is often referred to as the Venice of the East. This beautiful city is situated around azure water lakes and is surrounded by the lush green hills of the Aravallis. The stunning Lake Palace, located in the middle of Lake Pichola, is one of the most picturesque sights in Udaipur. Additionally, it is home to Jaisamand Lake, which is claimed to be the second largest man-made sweet water lake in Asia. Upon arrival, you will check-in at your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax.
Day 04 Explore Udaipur
After a hearty breakfast, you will visit Jagdish Temple, which is the largest temple in Udaipur and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who is known as the preserver of the universe. This temple is a perfect example of the Indo-Aryan style of architecture and is a three-storied marvel. You will also visit the City Palace, which is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Udaipur. The palace complex is the largest in Rajasthan and is situated on the banks of Lake Pichola. Additionally, you will visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, which is a stunning garden located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake. The garden is famous for its lush green lawns, marble art, and fountains. You will also visit the Maharana Pratap Memorial, which is a historic site dedicated to the gallant Maharana Pratap. Finally, you will enjoy a boat ride at Lake Pichola. stay over night in hotel
Day 05 Udaipur to Jaipur by car (365kms/06hrs)
After breakfast, you will drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, also known as the Pink City. The city is known for its captivating architecture and design. Upon arrival and check-in at the hotel, you will visit the Birla Mandir in Jaipur, also known as the Lakshmi Narayan Temple. This Hindu temple, constructed solely of white marble, was built by the B.M. Birla Foundation in 1988 and is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu (Narayan). stay over night in jaipur
Day 06 Explore Jaipur ( Pink City)
After breakfast, you will begin the sightseeing tour with a visit to Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for some photo opportunities. Then, you will proceed to Amber Fort, also known as the Amber Palace, located on a hill in Amer, Rajasthan. The fort, built by Raja Man Singh, is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture and is a major tourist attraction. You will take a short jeep ride to reach the fort. After the fort, you will visit City Palace, a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture, still home to the last ruling royal family. Your last stop will be Jantar Mantar, a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07Jaipur -Chand Baori - Agra by car (240kms/04:45hrs)
You will be Traveling from Jaipur to Agra en route Chand Baori one was built during the 8th and 9th centuries and has 3,500 narrow steps arranged in perfect symmetry, which descend 20m to the bottom of the step. Later you will be driven to Agra to spend the night in the hotel
Day 08Taj Mahal visit Agra to Delhi ( 237kms/04:45hrs)
Start your day early with a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays). The Taj Mahal is a true masterpiece of Mughal-era architecture and an epitome of true love and passion. The beauty and magnificence of the Taj Mahal are beyond description. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and then visit Agra Fort. Agra Fort was built in the year 1573 under the reign of Akbar, one of the greatest Mughal Emperors. Later, drive straight to Delhi airport
